Grab the Initiative!

I love how The Message words “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
It says, “Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them.”
It really is such a call to action. A call to not be passive in your relationships or the people you pass on the street, but to DO something. Something great for them. Possibly unexpected or just unexpected from you, a person they barely know.
My prayer is that God will show me this in a very real way today and that I will leave an impression of Him on someone.
I love the way God works.

ha! I had to laugh at your comment on my blog- glad you were offended at my course use of words. My mom read the blog today and she got riled up all over again- “you are right I was about to crap a brick”- she even had to call and tell me the words I used matched how she felt. *grin*
